Eurasian Curlew.

Eurasian Curlew (Numenius arquata) is a winter visitor to Sri Lanka. It is a wader and both sexes look similar. Eurasian Curlew feeds by probing soft mud for small invertebrates, it also pick small crabs and earthworms off the surface. IUCN classified it as species of least concern. But after an evaluation in 2008 classified as near threatened status. Though it is a common bird, its numbers are noticeably declining.
