The Hawaiian Coot
(Fulica alai), also known as the alae kea in Hawaiian is endemic to Hawaii
Islands. It habitats are freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, coastal saline
lagoons. The bird is listed in as an endangered species in USA as well as state
of Hawaii. I clicked this at Hamakua marshes at Oahu Island in October 2013.
